Changes I have made on my documentary

I have reshot a couple of clips which were a bit wonky and made the documentary's feel a bit rushed.
These shots included close up shot of some of Charlies art work he has around his house.
Buy retaking this shot it has improved my documentary a lot and makes the howl thing look smother and professional.

I have also added the Netflix logo at the start of my documentary so you know where my documentary is from.

My Documentary Poster

To go with the comic book theme of my documentary I have made my poster look like a comic strip with the central image being Charlie Adlard working at his desk and some of his work at the bottom of the poster. I decided to have it in back and white because that's the style Charlie normally works in.

For the title I wanted it to be big and bold so it will catch the audience attention and also match the Netflix logo which a lot of Netflix shows do, and I think the red contrasts the Blake and White really nicely.

Designing my Documentary website

For my website I am going for a very minimal feel for the look of it with most of it in Black and White with bold titles.

what I have do so far

On my website you will be able to book tickets for the premier tacking place in Charlies home town, Shrewsbury. You can also view the Documentary's film poster and reed about the Documentary it's self. I have added a Gallery so you can look at some of Charlie's art work which is not featured on the documentary. There are links to social media sites for the Documentary which included facebook and Instagram.

Documentary Poster Planning

With my documentary being released on Netflix I thought it would be a good idea to  look at some Netflix original TV show posters and hear what I found.

.The posters have a central image which consist of mainly a close up shot of a person or being.

.The title of the show is at the top of the poster normally in a bold fount to catch peoples attention.

.If the show/film is a Netflix original it has the Netflix logo which is the letter N in a blod red font.

Netflix try to be creative with there posters witch I really like and is a good way to intrigue the audience into watching. A good example is the Documentary From Slave To Criminal with one Amendment, with the central image being the American flag turning into a slave in a striped prison uniform. this is a really creative yet powerful image and is very different to most documenting posters on Netflix.
